Prime Minister allowed Nawaz Sharif's speech to spread to the media

Prime Minister Imran Khan allowed the opposition speech of former APC Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to be broadcast on news channels.

It was recently reported that the government was considering taking legal action to block Nawaz Sharif's leadership in the APC, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Political Relations, Shahbaz Gul, said that if a convict's speech is broadcast, PEMRA will act as according to the law.

Sources said that Prime Minister Imran Khan rejected the suggestion of aides and advisers to write a letter to PEMRA to block Nawaz Sharif's speech.

According to sources, the special advisers and special assistants told the prime minister that there were decisions in which the culprit was prohibited from making statements. The prime minister was told that PEMRA should implement such court decisions, but the prime minister did not. I do not agree with this suggestion.

The Head administrator said that Nawaz Sharif will lie, allowed him to lie, so the individuals ought to have the option to choose for themselves and Nawaz Sharif's discourse ought to have the option to be broadcast on the news channels.

Sources said Imran Khan said Nawaz Sharif would expose himself to people with his speech.

'The nation heard a live speech from a criminal convicted against the law'

On the other hand, the interior's accountability adviser, Mirza Shehzad Akbar, in his statement said that the media is not free in Pakistan, yet the nation has heard the live speech of a notorious criminal convicted against the law.

Shehzad Akbar said they say they respect the vote and, as usual, as soon as the wind blows, they leave the voters and flee to London. Mian Sahib insists that only the judge who acquits them despite the evidence is acceptable.
