Three former captain and one current captain will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani, Chief Executive Wasim Khan, three former captain and one current captain will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Wednesday to discuss major Pakistani cricket issues.

The three former captains who met Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is also the PCB's Enchef patron, include Wasim Akram, Misbah-ul-Haq and Muhammad Hafeez, as well as current test team captain Azhar Ali.

Mohammad Hafeez, who scored 2,000 runs and took 50 wickets in T20 cricket, made a special request for the meeting. Mohammad Hafeez will hold important talks with Prime Minister Imran Khan for the end of departmental cricket in national cricket and the employment of cricketers.

The meeting between Mohammad Hafeez and the former cricketers was delayed for two months due to Code 19 and the tour of England. The meeting with Mohammad Hafeez was attended by the captain of the national test team Azhar Ali and the coach and head coach Misbah-ul-Haq. Connected to gas.

Legendary fast bowler Wasim Akram is part of the meeting with the Prime Minister, he is still at the PIA.

After Ehsan Mani became president of the PCB, departmental cricket was discontinued from Pakistan's first-class cricket and a six-team first-class system was introduced. Extra money will be spent.

In a meeting with the Prime Minister, Hafeez along with other cricketers will try to persuade Prime Minister Imran Khan on the issue of employment of cricketers due to the closure of departmental cricket and the issue of revival of departmental cricket.

Remember that Prime Minister Imran Khan is against departmental cricket and his position is that there should be regional teams rather than institutions, which creates an atmosphere of competition.

In early August 2018, after taking office as Prime Minister, players from the 1992 World Cup winning team also met Prime Minister Imran Khan and at this meeting the late Abdul Qadir spoke openly in support of the departmental cricket but Prime Minister Imran Khan did not agree with him.
