According to the Federal Revenue Board (FBR) tax directory, Rs 77.17 billion were collected from Saddar market, Rs 3.5 billion from Jodia Bazar, Rs 1.8 billion from Bahadurabad market and Timber Market vendors raised rupees. Paid Rs. 23 crore in taxes.
According to the board, in 2018, 45% of the total tax was collected in Sindh and 35% in Punjab. The 1.67% tax was collected from Balochistan, while the 3.54% tax was collected from KP.
According to the tax directory, the number of unpaid taxpayers was more than 1.5 million and the number of salaried people was more than 1.2 million. 46,000 companies paid 56% of the total tax.
The number of resident taxpayers in Pakistan was 2,788,335 and the number of non-resident taxpayers was 64,014.
