Responsibility is one-sided for those who are blindfolded, said the NAB president

The president of the National Office of Accountability (NAB), Justice (Retd), Javed Iqbal, has said that the NAB is following a policy of transparent and fair responsibility, and accountability is seen unilaterally by those who are blindfolded.

Addressing a function at NAB headquarters to distribute funds to the victims of the Madaraba case, the NAB president said that everyone from the deputy messenger to the president is credited with the success of the NAB.

He said that NAB does not have any exemptions, we review each case from all angles and decide on the merits and it is not that someone is innocent and a case or reference has been made against them, the accountability is seen as one-sided. Whose eyes are blindfolded.

Judge (Retd) Javed Iqbal said that we have been guided by the decisions of the President of the Supreme Court. Those who have not read the NAB rules also criticize and great politicians challenge the NAB president for debates. Thank you, at least remember.

The NAB chair further said that if NAB were a failed institution, where would the 364 billion rupees come from? Before criticizing, look at the constitution and the law. Reference cases of Rs. 1.2 billion are being heard in court. Billions of rupees have been embezzled.

Additionally, he said that he is trying to further improve NAB performance, which he will not comment on NAB performance before 2017.
