The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has released a report on Pakistan's economy, according to which Pakistan's economic growth rate is expected to be negative 0.4 percent in 2020.
According to the report, Pakistan's GDP is expected to reach 2% in 2021.
As of early April, the ADB had projected Pakistan's economic growth at 2.6 percent this year, compared with 3.6 percent for next year.
According to the ADB, Pakistan's economy has been severely affected by the Corona virus. After the decline of Corona, there is the possibility of an economic recovery in Pakistan.
According to the Asian Development Bank, inflation in Pakistan will be 10.7 percent in 2020 and is expected to decline to 7.5 percent in 2021.
The report said that due to the decline in imports, Pakistan's current account deficit has narrowed. Pakistan has given an aid package of Rs 1,240 billion to deal with Corona, while agricultural sector output has held at 2.7 percent despite lobster heart attacks.
